Source: LibraryI was so nervous to read Down London Road. I fell in love with On Dublin Street after finally getting around to reading it. When I came back to Goodreads to look and see what was next in the series I was surprised with all the negative reviews for this book. I was wary, feeling I wouldn't enjoy this as much as On Dublin Street. Now, I didn't LOVE it compared to the first book but it wasn't as horrible as everyone made it out to be.
We first meet Johanna "Jo" in book one and she comes off as a gold digger, but when I read this book I really got to know her character and my heart broke for her and what she's been through! Cam, well, Cam was a completely ass on more than one occasion but I loved his character and the chemistry between them! I do feel like their story dragged out a bit longer than necessary, and I felt like the last couple of chapters just came out of no where. However, I still managed to enjoy this one :).
